This replica of Caryatid is inspired by the Caryatid porch of the Erechtheion - Temple of Athena Polias based on the north side of the Acropolis, Athens, which was primarily dedicated to the goddess Athena.

A Caryatid is  is a sculpted female figure serving as an architectural support taking the place of a column. The Greek term karyatides literally means "maidens of Karyai", an ancient town on the Pelopennese.
